Morning. What’s changed on Cedar Ridge?
Three things changed overnight. Two need you before ten. It has read every drawing, spec, submittal and set of meeting minutes on this job, so the inbox becomes a short list.
Tuesday, 6:04 a.m.
A medical office building in construction. Five people, three companies, one record. Last job, the team opened a finished ceiling back up because nobody could find one report. This is what the same day looks like when the project remembers.

Get the engineer of record and the GC on this.
Mechanical M-201 runs a 24 by 16 duct through grid C-4. Structural S-202 puts a transfer beam in the same space. Three companies, three different assistants, one room that already holds the project’s context.
The decision is recorded with its reason, and both sheets are flagged for revision. That used to be four phone calls and a meeting.
Level two corridor, the wall at grid D. What’s the fire rating, and has anyone inspected it?
Per the life safety plan and wall type 4 on A-501, UL U419. Checked against the drawings and the spec.
There’s no inspection report for this wall in the project record. Ceiling board goes up Thursday. Requested from the GC, due before Thursday.
I don’t need it to know everything. I need it to tell me what it doesn’t.Owner’s PM
Across everything, where am I exposed this month?
Three places. When something gets missed on a job, it lands on the owner. So the executive view is the same record, rolled up across the portfolio.
I’d rather hear it from my agent on a Tuesday than from a contractor in a change order in June.Executive
Boiler one is down. Is it under warranty, and who do we call?
Partly. The boiler is past its first-year coverage. The burner and heat exchanger carry longer, through next March. The installer’s number and the warranty pages come with the answer.
Nobody had to hunt for a closeout binder. The record was built while the building was.
We’re starting a surgical hospital in the spring. Review the design set before it goes out to bid.
Every project teaches the next one. The lesson from Cedar Ridge reaches the hospital before anyone draws the same conflict twice. How transformation starts at projects →
Every seat keeps the assistant it already uses. Underneath, one record holds every drawing, every decision and every source, so each person gets the answer their seat needs.
The two-hour rating was verified on A-501 and the spec before anyone repeated it.
The sheet, the spec section or the message, one tap away.
No inspection report on file is an answer too. Then the right person decides.
Cedar Ridge runs on the same services we bring to every project. Our team holds the project record from first assumptions through operations, so each seat gets an answer instead of a question.
01 Pre-development
We keep the reasons behind every assumption attached to the numbers.
02 Design
We catch where disciplines disagree before it turns into an RFI.
03 Capitalization
We tie each risk to the documents behind it, so lenders see the whole picture.
04 Construction
Field decisions make it back into the record instead of staying in the trailer.
05 Closeout
As-builts, manuals and warranties assembled while the people who know are still on site.
06 Operations
Operators inherit the intent behind each system, not just the equipment list.
Spans every stage
One accountable lead for the whole building, and the lessons from each project kept for your next one.
